The Inner Toolbox

Practical mindset & emotion-skills coaching for kids and teens (ages 6-18)

Every child carries unique strengths within — but sometimes they need the right tools to bring them out. The Inner Toolbox is a playful yet practical coaching program for kids and teens (ages 6–18), designed to help them build confidence, manage emotions, and handle life’s challenges with resilience. Through stories, games, and simple strategies, children discover skills they can use every day — at school, at home, and in friendships.

🌱| Why it exists

  • Confidence first – help young people believe “I can handle this.”
  • Reduce anxiety & tricky behaviours by teaching how, not why.
  • Life-skills for everyday – tools they’ll still use at 25.

We don’t dig for deep causes.

We show kids how to work with their mind so the issue gradually shrinks.

🧭 | How the programe works

  1. Parent Intake (45 min, parents only) – clarify goals & boundaries.
  2. Alignment Session (45 min, parent + child) – everyone says “yes.”
  3. Core Package – 5× 45 min 1-to-1 sessions with the child.
    • Online only (via Zoom)
    • One coach, one child – no group work.
  4. Optional Extension – additional sessions if we all agree it serves.
(Parents receive brief updates after each session; confidentiality with the child is respected.)

🔧 | Inside a typical session

  • Rapport & safety – play, chat, art, movement.
  • Mind mechanics – simple models kids get: thoughts → feelings → actions.
  • Tools practice – breathing, visualization, positive self-talk, “mental movies.”
  • Wins tracking – celebrate shifts so progress sticks.
  • Older teens (if ready) – gentle exploration of “why” patterns started.

✨ | Why it’s different

  • 100 % personalised; not a one-size school worksheet.
  • Forward-focused coaching, not therapy – ideal for mild-to-moderate issues.
  • Integrates body-mind tools kids can self-apply after the programme.

👪 | Who it’s (and isn’t) for

Great fit

  • Ages 6-18 with anxiety, low confidence, mild behaviour spikes.
  • Kids open to imagination or willing to try visualising/breathing.
  • Families who can commit to weekly in-person sessions.

Not a fit

  • Diagnosed intellectual disabilities needing specialised therapy.
  • Severe clinical conditions better served by licensed mental-health care.
  • Parents wanting a “fix my child” quick-fix without engagement.

❓ | FAQ

No. It’s coaching – future-oriented and skill-building. We don’t diagnose.

At the moment, no. Presence matters for rapport with younger clients.

We decide together. Many kids shift within 5; deeper habits may need more.

Parents join the alignment session, and after that, it depends on what feels right for everyone.
Younger children often feel safer with a parent nearby. Older kids usually prefer privacy.
We always agree together — with the child’s voice at the centre.
