Markéta Chodura – RTT terapeut
This therapeutic approach uses evidence-based techniques to give you the tools you need to make positive changes in your life.
RTT borrows from a number of traditional psychotherapy areas, including the holistic Gestalt approach, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapies, hypnotherapy and mindfulness.
Unlike other therapies which zero in on a person’s issue or challenge from the very first session, RTT’s primary focus at the beginning is uncovering when and why you first formed unhelpful beliefs or habits. By pinpointing this root cause, RTT then uses leading scientific principles to help you create new neural pathways to establish beneficial and positive long-term solutions.
RTT can guide you to reframe negative beliefs, habits and emotions buried deep in your subconscious to help you lead a more fulfilling life.
The tools and techniques used in RTT were developed by Marisa Peer over the course of her 30-year career as a therapist and best-selling author.

There is no precise definition of what hypnosis is. It is often stated that it is an altered state of consciousness that allows the subconscious mind to make positive changes. It is a certain state of relaxation where there is a decrease in rational activity and an increase in the ability to receive suggestions for improvement.
Describing the feeling of hypnosis is subjective and varies from person to person. Many compare it to a state of „flow“ or „just being.“ During the session, you remain aware of your surroundings, hearing the guide’s voice and communicating normally. It’s similar to meditation or being in a state of relaxed observation, with a heightened focus on subconscious issues.
No, you’re in full control during hypnosis. I can’t make you do anything you wouldn’t normally do. As your guide, I help you explore the causes of your issues and reinforce the changes you desire.
RTT delivers faster results compared to traditional methods like talk therapy or hypnotherapy. Instead of solely boosting confidence, RTT uncovers root causes of issues like low-self esteem, then reframes beliefs through positive language and suggestions. This process aims for long-term results by disrupting old beliefs and reshaping perspectives.
No. This method is not suitable for people who suffer from auditory or visual hallucinations, dissociative identity disorder (formerly known as multiple personality disorder), personality disorders, psychosis, epilepsy, schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia.
Online and in-person meetings are equally effective. Online sessions offer convenience and safety, eliminating the need for travel.
Most problems can be resolved in 1-3 sessions, while more severe issues may need around 3 sessions. Severe cases like trauma or depression are individual and typically require multiple sessions. However, RTT aims to avoid extended weekly sessions spanning months or years.
RTT therapy does not replace treatment by a physician or psychiatrist and should be viewed as a complement to traditional medicine. Discuss any lifestyle changes, especially medication adjustments, with your GP beforehand. Contact your GP if you have doubts or questions about your medical condition.
